The No. One Question That Everyone Working In Best Robotic Mop And Vacuum Should Be Able To Answer

Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customised using an application that allows you to save the maps of your home as well as set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, and how much water the mop is using.

A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles helps it avoid running over wires, furniture or other toys. These are essential features for my home, which is filled with toys scattered around.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it naturally comes with features. It's able to both sweep and mop in one session, and it can even lift its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from getting too wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to spot pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad at more than 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also features an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which lifts the pad when it goes from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock and the dust container is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, and only need to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank every now and then.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its standard vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and returned to its base for a recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested.

This is a very robust and well-rounded product with its only downsides being that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mops. If  budget robot vacuum  can justify the cost we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. The price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capability and two mop heads that gyrate. It also includes an app-based controller that is smart and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it was able to perform well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no getting caught in. The mops also performed well in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its advanced multifunctional docking station. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag for dirt, then refills the water tank to mop and also dry your mop pads. It also has a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions with its intelligent controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance in comparison to the other hybrid mops I tested. Additionally, its mops aren't as efficient in removing stubborn stains as those found in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned, and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads, which are bought separately will need to be replaced regularly too.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone who has the money for it. For those who are on a smaller budget, I suggest considering an easier model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can buy but its high cost and maintenance costs will eventually make it more of a want than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to tidy up mess and clean dirt off your floors. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacles-avoiding. It has a mop with a roller that cleans itself which makes it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is almost the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of fresh Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the mop water that is dirty into its base station, where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements and empty into a larger storage container. The onboard tank can hold a substantial amount of water and handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. If you choose this feature, however, you will need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing users to select their own choice of cleaning solutions.

Like most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map out a space and moved around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple of times on longer pile carpets and rugs in my tests however this could be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, and it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides many options to customize the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area that are mapped by this device, or select specific rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. There are a number of mopping options, including SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the area.

Like the other Roborock models we've evaluated like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is efficient in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized way. Its "Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like thick carpets but may not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.

This device has a major problem: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a simple solution: The app offers an option that lets you "clean up" at the conclusion of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the mopping function of the vacuum to get rid of the last remnants of debris and dust that you've left behind from the vacuuming. It's a nice feature and helps the robot get rid of a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
